There has been allegations from the PDP and some Nigerians that the Buhari-led Federal government is using the federal might to crackdown on opposition members in the guise of fighting corruption.
The President Buhari's media aide, Garba Shehu shared on his twitter handle confirming the speculations, the Presidency has declared war on the opposition specifically the PDP.

President Buhari since on assumption of office has used the anti graft agencies as well as security agencies to terrorise his opponents while visibly corrupt members of his political party, the APC have been rewarded with ministerial offices. Recall that there was allegation that the former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi looted his State's treasury in which a panel set up by the State government indicted him of looting about 80 billion Naira of Rivers money, also an APC governor said once that Rotimi Amaechi provided about 80% of APC's campaign funds which was in billions which confirms his indictment yet Amaechi was made a minster with all the allegations.

A former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola was also said to have squandered Lagos' money yet was not investigated by the EFCC which clearly justifies the speculations by members of the public that the ongoing corruption fight is nothing but a political war.
Garba Shehu on his twitter finally made it official that the war is between APC and PDP and not about who is corrupt or not, see a screenshot of his twit below:
